I have just moved your post over to the Travel Insurance forum, and there is heaps of great advice in other threads there.

Even though a domestic cruise, you require South Pacific cover for insurance against onboard medical and medivac - potentially the highest risk of an expense as there is no medicare coverage onboard.

You will see a 1Cover ad in regular locations on the site. There is testimony from several members who have shopped around, and it usually works outas a great deal. OzCC site costs also benefit from 1Cover purchases through the link.

I have used 1cover and am using it again for my next two cruises. The rates are good, but I have never had to claim so cannot comment on that side of things.
